Priyanka and Prishanya Pillai are twin sisters from Anchorage, Alaska. They are seniors majoring in microbiology and completing certificates in biotechnology at the University of Rochester. Prishanya is minoring in Spanish, while Priyanka is minoring in philosophy. They enjoy public health research in addition to natural science research. Priyanka and Prishanya have been working for 3 years in the Nedergaard lab at the Center for Translational Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
