Natalie Bauta was born and raised in Miami, Florida by a Honduran mother and a Cuban father. She studies journalism and international development and humanitarian assistance at the University of Florida with a specialization in technical and translational writing for health and environmental journalism.
Natalie hopes to someday couple her journalism degree with humanitarian work. She has worked with nonprofit organizations such as United Way Worldwide doing multimedia journalism and currently volunteers for the American Red Cross in the disaster relief services sector. She intends on expanding her global perspective by visiting countries through her service as a journalist and humanitarian.
