MADRID, SPAIN. Buenas y Santas is a good Argentinian restaurant. The inside is bare and the space small. It is known for its hamburgers, empanadillas, quiches, and grilled pizza. The menu of the day costs eleven euros, and includes two dishes, a drink, and desert or coffee. There is also a weekend formula for two, which includes a pizza to share, empanadillas, and desert, for 16.80 euros each.

Last time I went, I ordered the menu of the day. I chose to get a vegetable soup, two empanadillas, and an apple cake. The empanadillas were the best empanadillas I’ve had in Madrid. They looked and tasted incredible. It would take us a long time to get the attention of our waiter, but it was on par with the service of most Spanish restaurants I’ve been to.

It is in the great neighborhood of Conde Duque. It is easy to walk around before or after a meal, and it’s a great place to check out cool shops and cafes. Because of its size, it is cozy, but I recommend making a reservation.

There is also a second location at Calle Bolívar, 9, 28045 Madrid, in the neighborhood of Arganzuela.
