WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S.A. The Smithsonian Hirshhorn museum first displayed this exhibition by Barbara Kruger in 2012 before the presidential election. The declarative statements were meant to provoke thought in future voters when making the decision of who would govern the United States for the next four years. However, the bold, declarative statmentes made by Kruger apply to everyday life and the exhibition has been on long-term display until 2014.
