The Big Traffic Jam (‘El gran atasco’)

El gran atasco (The Big Traffic Jam) is a play that has to do with an absurd situation – in this case a traffic jam, but that ends up leading to profound life reflections and the concept of existence. The scenes are played out entirely by two people who are just meeting for the first time(Maya and Mr. Gallardo) and questioning the good in modern life.
Where: Teatro Lara (Corredera Baja de San Pablo, 15) (Metro: Callao, Tribunal)
When: Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:15pm (Until June 24th).

Jim Campbell: Rythms of Light
Exposition ‘Jim Campbell. Ritmos de luz’ | vía Fundación Telefónica
Until the end of June, the Foundation Telefónica is showing an exhibition entirely about light. Jim Campbell, American artista known for his work in light experimentation, uses light and video-art in order to reflect on the human´s visual perceptions in this collection.
Where: Foundation Telefónica (Fuencarral, 3) (Metro: Gran Vía)
When: From Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00am to 8:00pm. Until June 29th.

Madrid Beer Week
Imagine two weeks filled with activities solely dedicated to beer and all that has to do with beer. It´s incredible, right? Well this event does really exist- and it´s called Madrid Beer Week. Among many other things, you can attend beer tasting events, try great foods and visit artisan beer-making factories. You can see the full event program here.

DecorAcción 2015
DecorAcción 2014 | via Es Madrid
DecorAcción 2015 (“DecorAction”) is an interior design and decor market that takes place in Madrid´s Las Letras neighborhood. In addition to the market, there will also be various exhibitions, theater plays and conferences dedicated to this style of art. See the program here. Only for one weekend!
