Tribeca Family Festival
NYC’s annual street fair offers a wide variety of activities such as music and entertainment, food vendors, chef demos, an arts and crafts pavilion and film screenings. There will be festival stages that will feature special performances from current Broadway shows along with emerging talent from Tribeca. Local schools, merchants, restaurants and organizations will offer Tribeca’s finest foods, refreshments, activities and merchandise.
This event takes place on April 25th from 10 a.m.-6p.m on Greenwich Street. The fair continues along Hubert until Chambers streets. This street fair is free for all attendees.
NYC Hot Sauce Expo
This week signals the 3rd annual NYC Hot Sauce Expo, which boasts every variety of hot sauce imaginable. This spicy festival has many offerings such as hot sauce tastings, craft beer tastings, Bloody Mary mix selections, a chicken wing eating championship, prizes for various competitions and several spicy food vendors. Whether you’re a hot sauce fanatic or just hoping to expand your taste palette this expo offers something for everyone!
This expo takes place from April 25th-26th at the Brooklyn Expo Center. The expo is open from 10 a.m.-6p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. General admission tickets are $10 per person per day.
Bacon and Beer Classic
NYC’s Bacon and Beer Classic returns again to bring together those who share a similar passion for baseball, bacon and beer! This event boasts 3 hours of bacon and craft beer indulgence with a variety of over 100 craft beers and a selection of over 50 different bacon-inspired dishes from local restaurants.
This event takes place on Saturday, April 25th, 2015 at Citi Field, 123-01 Roosevelt Ave., New York, NY 11368. The brunch session takes place from 12-3p.m. and the evening session takes place from 7-10p.m. General admission is $59 per guest and it is all-inclusive.
Arbor Fest
Come celebrate spring and the full blossoms of life present in every corner of NYC this week at the annual spring festival! This event has a variety of fun tastings and activities such as food and craft vendors, a beer tent, petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and composting workshops for a fun filled afternoon in the beautiful spring sunshine.
This festival takes place on Sunday, April 26th, 2015 at the Queens Botanical Garden. General admission is free for all guests but there are some small extra fees for activities within the festival.
