It will take place at the Bell House (149 7th St, Brooklyn, 11215) on May 18th at 19.30 h.

Ninth Avenue International Food Festival

This is the 41st weekend of the city’s largest and oldest food fair. It covers 15 blocks with street food and food trucks. This Festival raises funds for local and national charities including the Food Bank for NYC and City Harvest. Some venders participating in this event are Bali Nusa Indah, Barbacon, Chelsea Grill, Southern Hospitality, and Poseidon Bakery.

You can visit the fair on Ninth Avenue, between 42nd and 57th Streets. It will take place on Saturday and Sunday May 16th and 17th.

Prices vary according to venders.

“Yoko Ono: One Woman Show, 1960–1971”

The works of Yoko Ono are exhibited for the first time exclusively at the Museum of Modern Art. It surveys the decade that led up to her unauthorized exhibition in lat 1971 at MoMA, exhibiting over 125 of her early objects, works on paper, installations, performances, audio recordings, and films.

This exhibition will take place from May 17th to September 7 at MoMA (11 W 53rd St, New York, 10019)

The hours are: Mon–Thu, Sat, Sun 10:30am–5:30pm; Fri 10:30am–8pm.

The ticket prices are as follows: $25 general admission, seniors $18, students $14, children under 16 free. For discounts, order tickets in advance at MoMA

Lightning Bolt is an underground contemporary rock band that has been in existence for 2 decades. They are a duo that has broken the barrier between the stage and the audience, as they set themselves up amongst the crowd. Their sounds in their 6th album, Fantasy Empire, are very present and tangible because they amplify the intensity they project through the clarity afforded by the studio.
