TOLEDO, SPAIN. This amazing Gothic styled Cathedral should not be missed if you are in Toledo. It was built in 1226 and modeled off of the Bourges Cathedral. King Ferdinand 3 ordered this Cathedral to be built on a former mosque, which was first built on a Visigoth church. Queen Isabella 1 and King Ferdinand 2 (the Catholic Monarchs) later added to the Cathedral in 1493.
