CULTURAL ABDUCTION IN THE CASA ENCENDIDA

Like it or not, science fiction, man arriving at the moon, the study of the universe and even the fenomenon of UFOs excite our imaginations – and the culture and art of the 20th century. The “Casa Encendida” shows us the impact of such topics in the new exhibition ARSTRONOMY: where science meets imagination and reality meets fiction. Nacional and international artists from many generations reflect upon the same themes- the “out-of-body” experience, outer space, science and ufology (study of unidentified flying objects).
Where: The Casa Encendida, Ronda de Valencia 2 (Metro: Embajadores).
When: Sundays to Mondays, from 10:00am – 10:00pm.

LOSE YOURSELF IN A LABYRINTH FULL OF MAGIC

La Escalera de Jacob presents a play where the audience enjoys a magic show as various magicians perform tricks while walking around the stage. El Laberinto Mágico (The Magic Labyrinth) takes you to unsuspected places that you won´t want to leave. It is a unique and surprising show.

NOCTURNA: MADRID INTERNATIONAL FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL

Calling all film-buffs! If fantastic film is your passion, you cannot miss this important date. Nocturna is the International Film Festival in Madrid, which is now returning for its third year. It is a young and fresh festival that projects movies for people with all types of film tastes– for families as much as groups of friends.
