THE MARKETPLACE AT SAINT ANTHONYS
In the heart of the Soho neighborhood, venders from all over the city gather together to put together this flea market every Fridays-Sundays, from March through December. It features a wide variety of artisans, crafters, gourmet food items, fair trade, and vintage.
You can visit the market everyday Fridays to Sundays from 10 until dusk. It is located on the sidewalk of West Houston St., between Thompson St. and Macdougal St.

MATILDA MUSICAL
Our childhood’s favorite novel, Matilda, by Roald Dahl is on Broadway. Come witness the story of a young, imaginative girl out to change her destiny. This musical, which was first performed in March 2013, based on this extraordinary girl is a winner of over 50 international Awards, including the Tony Award.
This musical is performed at Shubert Theater at varying hours everyday except Mondays until August 30. Visit here to view hours and purchase your tickets.

BJORK AT MOMA
The Museum of Modern Arts presents Bjork, a composer, musician, and artist from Iceland, in this exhibition. Over 20 years of her innovative projects are exhibited, from works created through sound, film, visuals, instruments, objects and costumes. There are different rooms dedicated to different works, exhibiting sounds from her albums to retrospective screenings of her music videos. In addition, on the third floor of the exhibition, Songlines presents an interactive audio experience through Bjork’s albums.
You can visit the exhibition everyday until May 24 with the MOMA general admission ticket. Tickets cost $25 for adults, $18 for seniors, $14 for students, and free for children under 16.
For the Songlines portion of the exhibition, time tickets are required. They are available only same-day and on-site on a first-come, first-served basis.

NYC BALLET BALANCHINE BLACK AND WHITE
A mixture of classicism and contemporary, Balanchine presents his Black and White performance. With his minimalist vision, he omits elaborate sets and costumes to focus on the music and movements of the ballet. In this ballet, 5 works are presented: Monumentum pro Gesualdo, Movements for Piano and Orchestra, Concerto Barocco, Episodes, and The Four Temperaments.
The ballet is performed until May 6th, at David H. Koch Theater (formerly New York State Theater).

TOTALLY BEGINNERS TRIAL CLASS AT STRICTLY TANGO
Visit Strictly Tango in NYC to learn how to dance Argentine tango. There is a beginner’s trial class three times a week, with a 45 minute introductory class that teaches you all the basic fundamentals of the dance. They guarantee that you will be dancing by the end of the first class. Join the tango community, and after a couple of lessons, you will be able to join their nights out at Tango Socials throughout the city.
Take these trial classes every Mondays and Thursdays at 19 h, and Saturdays at 14 h. It only costs $10 for the Totally Beginners trial class.
