EXPERIENCE THE NEW WHITNEY
The brand-new Whitney Museum of American Art just recently reopened in an expanded space downtown on May 1st. Having moved from its previous location on the Upper East Side, the museum will open with the largest display of its permanent collection in history to honor its greatly expanded gallery space in its new home in the Meatpacking District. The new building, designed by architect Renzo Piano, includes approximately 50,000 square feet of indoor galleries and 13,000 square feet of outdoor exhibition space and terraces with impressive views of the High Line. Enjoy the unique exhibitions on display now such as Mary Heilmann: Sunset.

OUTDOOR FILM UNDER THE STARS
Join the Intrepid Museum for its seventh annual Summer Movie Series. Watch free feature film classics with your friends throught the Summer on the Museum´s own flight deck. Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, food and drinks Friday, May 22nd for the showing of Top Gun. Other movies will be presented on July 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th and August 6th.
WHERE: The Intrepid Museum, Pier 86 (W 46th St and 12th Ave).

GET READY TO GET COLORFUL!
This May 23rd, take part in the Color Run. “The Color Run, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality (The Color Run™).” Wear a white T-shirt and get bombarded by handfuls of colored cornstarch and glitter as you run through Citi Field in this fun 5K race.
