MADRID, SPAIN. The name Magasand is representative of what Magasand is known for: magazines and sandwiches. This is one of my favorite places to eat. It has amazing salads and sandwiches, and fresh juices and great coffee. Crepes, soups, cakes, and breakfast are also served. The food is healthy, and the salads burst with flavor and are full of diverse vegetables and nuts. The restaurant serves top quality, fresh foods.

The environment is similarly cool. Design oriented magazines from many different countries line the walls. If you enjoy art magazines, this is really the place to go. The menu is very graphic and fun to look at (like a magazine). The restaurant is spread over two floors, and has space to sit outside on a nice day. It is also close to the Puerta Alcala and Retiro Park, perfect for a walk after a meal.

Food comes fast. You can also order take out. Wifi is free. There is also another Magasand in Chueca (Travesía de San Mateo, 16).
