MADRID, SPAIN. An awesome atmosphere for Mexican inspired food. A great outdoor terrace and a cool design oriented vibe.

What I was disappointed by were the portions for the price. I ordered a burrito bowl for 6,75 euros and it came in a very shallow tin can. The serving size made me think that this is a better place to either drink or share food among friends. Regardless, I recommend this place for the ambiance.

The interior has an industrial, modern feel. At the same time, it is cozy and relaxed. There is a lot of attention on design, with a graphic menu and specialty containers for the foods. We sat in an outdoor garden in the back. To warm us, there were mini fireplaces and blankets available. There is also outdoor seating in front of the restaurant.

The drinks menu looks amazing, and salads are available from seven to nine euros. Sangria is good and Estrella de Galicia beer is on tap. Breakfast and brunch is also served. I have heard their burgers are good, and you can mix and match small burgers.

The restaurant is on a side street in Chueca. Be sure to walk around after and visit the great shops on Calle de Fuencarral, and visit Mercado San Antón if you’re still hungry.

Wi-fi is free. There is no English menu. The place is big, so a reservation shouldn’t be needed.
