Loewe is a name renowned throughout Spain for their luxury products and fine leather. From belts and bags, to clothes and shoes, everything is ultimately classy, expensive and lavish. However, I decided to take a look at the presentation of their products and Loewe’s innovative window displays.
This particular display caught my eye immediately, as it was clearly intending to do. I adored how the bag was seated upon a throne, a tribute to it’s crimson coloured magnificence! The colour combination – a red display over a white background ensured that it captured the attention of every passerby. It had an entire window dedicated to it, which immediately gave the impression that it was coveted and almost a ‘must-have’ for this season.
This simple yet effective display was a favourite of mine. Although it may not immediately be considered particularly interesting at first glance, the minimalism of it appealed to me greatly. The range of colours placed alongside each other complemented one another and any other aspect added to the display would have drawn attention away from the clutches. The way in which they are lined up emphasises the variety and also the luxurious simplicity of the products – I feel that Loewe wanted to use this display to really sell this particular product rather than to draw customers into the shop.
This display was one of the most interesting ones I saw in the Loewe windows. Unlike the others which are fairly simple and made up of clean lines and block colours, this display is more edgy and unique. The handbag is still placed prominently upon a chair, but it is surrounded by abstract art. From the wooden piece on the floor, to the round wall it almost looks like a living-room concept. The stack of purses are presented inventively, complementing the colours of the the painting on the wall and portrayed almost as art pieces themselves.
Although Loewe may be well-known throughout Spain for their fine leather artisan and timeless products, the creative window displays themselves may actually contribute to their success. Unlike many stores who simply showcase the items, each display in Loewe is well thought out and constructed – perhaps all luxury brands should take note!
