MADRID, SPAIN. In June 2013, ten young directors came together to form a manifesto on the global crisis – a crisis that isn’t only economic. From this, ’10 Miradas’ (10 Glances) emerged, a project based on a manifesto that, without being a series of rules, allows for ten reflections on the imminent issues of today’s society.
The final project is a series of short films by young directors, which offer various perspectives on the world today, both on a Spanish and global level, based on these ten points. These ten cinematic reflections explore new means of expression and intend to provoke reflection amongst the audience.
ROOSTERGNN had the opportunity to interview Alberto Gil Sánchez, the coordinator of the project, and Luis Guillermo S. de la Corte, one of the ten young directors that form part of ’10 Miradas’.
