MADRID, SPAIN. At RGNN Academy, we are getting ready to welcome journalism students from all over the world to Madrid, Spain, during the summer. The majority of our students this year, as evident in the Class of 2016 profiles, will be girls (and a couple of guys, who must be very excited about this).
In the upcoming days and weeks, we will be posting a couple of useful tips for your stay in Madrid.
The following is a post that, at first, might seem more relevant to the female journalism students, but of course, males can use it, too.
Beauty treatments in the United States and elsewhere are increasingly expensive (but necessary, especially if the summer comes around, right?). We’re all about saving money, and have found a great little web and mobile app that will help you de-stress in Madrid.
Case in point: the app is called “Bucmi” (in English, pronounced like “Book Me!). And that’s exactly what it is, an app that will allow you to book beauty, spa, manicure, pedicure, massage, haircut and other treatments in and around Madrid and Spain as a whole. Check it out at www.bucmi.com.
At present, the website is only available in Spanish, but it is pretty straightforward. Find a treatment that you are looking for. Register and book your time! You will need a credit card to pay for the treatment in advance.
We highly recommend you wait until you find a coupon code to get even more discounts; if you sign up for an account, you will receive news of codes via email, or you can also check the official and unofficial Facebook pages.
There’s plenty of spas and nail salons near the RGNN Academy, so you can drop in for a quick massage of manicure and then continue working on your articles. Enjoy!
