ABELLÓ COLLECTION. PATRONAGE TO THE SERVICE OF ART

The marriage of Juan Abelló and Anna Gamazo has gathered approximately 170 works. Most of the works we find here come from our country of Spain, but we can also find pieces originated from Germany, Italy, France, and Belgium. They emphasize the importance of drawing and dialog with artists such as Murillo, Zurbarán, Goya, or Picasso. Some of these examples you can encounter are Jovengallero, by Bartolomé Esteban Murillo and Salvator mundi entre san Pedro y san Juan de Fernando by Yáñez de la Almedina.

You can visit the exhibition atCentroCentro (Plaza de Cibeles, 1) until the 1st of March.

Hours: Tuesdays to Sundays, from 10 to 20 h.

The general entrance fee costs 6€, and is reduced to 4€ for seniors 65+, students, etc. It can be purchased in advance at www.ticketea.com or at the box office.

*It is free for children under the age of 12 and all visitors the first Tuesday of each month.

 THE POWER OF MUSIC. 60 MOMENTS OF POP OF THE 20TH CENTURY

Los Rolling Stones in París | aka Francois aka Mister Pink

This exhibition of sounds and visuals presents 70 themes of distinguished artists of the 20th century’s second half such as Neil Young, Patti Smith, The Beach Boys, Abba, Van Morrison, The Beatles, Gloria Gaynor, Prince Loquillo, Los Plantas, Bob Marley, The Doors, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, and the Sex Pistols. These iconic songs with be accompanied by their context and pictures.

 You can visit this exhibition until the 4th of October in Matadero Madrid (Paseo de la Copera, 10).

Hours: Tuesdays to Fridays, from 17 to 21 h.; Saturdays from 11 to 15 and from 17 to 21 h.; Sundays and holidays, from 11 to 15 h. (Closed on Mondays and the month of August).

The entrance is free.

This performance brings together the best numbers of Juan Tamariz, an international phenomenon in the world of magic. Accompanying him will be Consuelo Lorgia, who will be in charge of telepathy, and Manuel Vera, who will be in charge of manipulations.

 It will take place in TeatroCirco Price from the 27th of February to the 1st of March

Hours: Fridays and Saturdays at 20:30 and on Sundays at 19 h.

This annual fair, organized by IFEMA, presents exhibitors showcasing university studies, post-graduate courses, professional training, study abroad, NGO, etc. It is open to the public.
