“To be or not to be?” That is the question.” Hamlet, Shakespeare’s timeless classic returns to the New York City stage. Renowned director Austin Pendleton and actor Peter Sarsgaardhave paired up to recreate a Shakespearean sensation on Broadway.

Pendleton’s production follows the classic Shakespearean iconic revenge tragedy but rumor has it that this storyline has a few contemporary modifications. Prince Hamlet consumed with grief and determined to avenge his father’s apparent murder, with devastating consequences for his family and the kingdom. Join the audience to discover how this talented duo will take this Shakespearean classic and mold it for a contemporary audience.

This event will take place at the Classic Stage Company at 136 East, 13th Street, New York, NY 10003. It begins March 27thand ends May 10thand nightly schedules are as follows: Tuesday – Thursday at 7pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 3pm & 8pm and Sunday at 3pm & 7pm. Come join the Greek community of New York City in celebrating the 194th anniversary of Hellenic independence. The Greek Independence Day Parade features traditional costumes, music, and millions of blue and white flags to celebrate Grecian culture and customs.

This event, organized by The Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York, celebrates and promotes the liberty and independence of the Grecian culture. This years parade marshals are Governor Andrew Mark Cuomo, Mr. & Mrs. John P. Calamos and Mr. and Mrs. John Psaras.
