Los Angeles, or ‘the angels’ in Spanish, is the second most populous city in the United States. LA is huge, and it has to be to be called home by almost 4 million people. While LA is a city, LA county also encompasses other cities including Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and the like. LA is a wonderful city because there is so much to do and so much to see.

Because the entirety of California is on the coast line there are so many beaches to explore. There’s one for everybody whether you like populated tourist beaches such as Venice Beach

And while you’re there, make sure to check out Ameoba Music, an independent music chain with an impressive collection of CDs and Vinyl.

Rodeo Drive is also another fun attraction to check out. Rodeo Drive is 2 miles of luxury stores to welcome you to LA culture.

LA is a wonderful city full of culture and activism. For the Pride month of June 2018 West Hollywood was decorated with LGBTQI+ History.

LA is also filled with creative innovation. For example, Bird is a dockless scooter-share company based in Santa Monica, California. The scooters cost one dollar to rent plus fifteen cents a minute. People can ride the scooters to wherever they need to go and then just leave them outside for someone else to pick up and use. And they are everywhere.

And there is still so much to do in LA. Honestly a must visit for anyone interested. LA is a city where boredom does not exist.
