LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM. Nestling away from the hustle and bustle of London’s manic streets, look mum no hands! offers a warm and welcome sanctuary for cyclists in a city notoriously unfriendly towards two-wheelers. This alternative coffee shop, which also serves wholesome breakfasts and lunches and a variety of beers and locally brewed ales, has built a brand dedicated to two passions: good food and cycling.

First impressions of this cafe do not disappoint. Unusual bicycles and cycling shorts hang in the form of bunting, decorating the front windows, and as you enter you are immediately met by cycling themed seat covers and walls adorned with framed photos of racing legends and twisting mountain passes. A wide range of memorabilia is on sale here too, from t-shirts and jumpers to books, boxers and badges. You can even purchase bike accessories or get your cycle fixed at the workshop next to the bar whilst you tuck into one of the hearty specials. With ample bike racks just outside the front doors, this is a real haven for cyclists from all over the capital.

Not that this should put off the non-enthusiasts. The good coffee and scrumptious pies are enough to lure in any passers-by. Plenty of tasty vegetarian options are available as well as guest beers and a selection of fresh homemade cakes. The light and airy cafe-bar has free WIFI and plug sockets, so expect to encounter a young crowd writing their blogs and updating social media whilst sipping skinny flat whites. Space is limited so do be prepared to share a table with other patrons and the odd bike helmet. This however this only adds to the friendly community ambiance which emanates from the cosy atmosphere and the smiling waitresses.

For an off the tourist trail experience look no further than this establishment, the perfect refuelling point whether you come by bike or not.
